2 Love Birds readers may be familiar with Allison’s gorgeous work, as I recently featured a ‘Beautiful Blue Baby Shower’. I have mentioned previously that I’m a big fan of Wild Rose Sweets & Styling. Allison’s style is unique, enchanting and simply faultless. Today I would like to show you this lovely and rustic, spring garden party. 2 Love Birds were lucky enough to supply our ‘Vintage Lace’ buffet labels.
Allison talks about the idea, inspiration and taking the full advantage of nature in spring: “I love the warmer weather and with it comes more events being held outdoors – whether it’s a wedding, birthday or simply a family barbecue. I wanted to make use of the gorgeous trees, grass and natural light at our local park and work with a pastel colour palette and vintage influence. My inspiration board was full of gorgeous spring flowers, hessian, buttercream and lace, with a big focus on delicious food that would suit any relaxed, outdoor occasion. The table display included both fondant and buttercream cakes, cupcakes, macarons, petite tarts, cookies and brownies which we nibbled on constantly throughout the shoot – I blame all that sunshine and fresh air!”
